Getting Started Training Session
Our 1-hour Getting Started Training Session is the first step in your dog’s training journey. During this session at our Galt, CA facility, we’ll talk through your goals, review your dog’s history and behavior, and observe how your dog responds in a new setting. At the end, we’ll introduce a foundation skill for you and your dog to continue practicing at home. These skills are relationship-based and tailored to your dog’s personality, current abilities, and training needs. Booking Process: Step 1: Create an account in our booking system. Step 2: Complete your profile, add your dog’s information, and upload current vaccination records (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella). Step 3: Once your account is complete, you’ll be able to schedule your Getting Started Training Session online. Payment confirms your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Training Services Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy We want to keep things as smooth and fair as possible for everyone! Here’s what to know before booking with Country Road Canines: Regular Training Sessions: Refunds: To receive a refund, please cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable, but you’re always welcome to reschedule for another date. No-Shows & Late Arrivals: If you haven’t arrived or checked in within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time (in person or on Zoom), it’s considered a no-show. No-shows cannot be refunded or rescheduled—the session is considered used. If you know you’ll be late, please let your trainer know as soon as possible. Your trainer will wait up to 10 minutes, but any time lost due to late arrival can’t be made up—your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Board-and-Train Programs: Refunds: To receive a refund, please cancel at least 2 weeks before your scheduled start date. Cancellations within 2 weeks are non-refundable, but you can reschedule (please note: there’s often a 3–4 week waitlist for new dates). If a refund is ever approved, any payment processing fees will be deducted from the total. These policies help us keep things fair, smooth, and fun for all our two- and four-legged friends.
